GO Transit's Guide to Etiquette campaign was developed to raise awareness of good behaviour and courtesy among passengers. It was created using actual commuter tweets for source content. The campaign aimed to encourage travellers to be more mindful of their actions and behaviours while traveling by train or bus. The campaign included posters, flyers, and social media posts that highlighted important etiquette tips such as giving up seats for elderly or disabled passengers, not blocking doors or aisles, and keeping one's phone conversations and music volumes to a minimum. The campaign also emphasized the importance of respecting other passengers' personal space and belongings. GO Transit hoped that the campaign would create a more positive and enjoyable travel experience for all its passengers.
